South Yorkshire Apprenticeship Hub Employer Forum
Event Date: Tuesday 17th of September 2024
Designed to support regional apprentice employers by addressing some of the current key challenges, this first forum will cover:
1. The Future of The Apprenticeship Levy - with a new government in place who are suggesting changes to the levy, we would like your views on what would work for you. These will be fed back to ministers via SYMCA
2. Best Practice in Safeguarding for Employers - Safeguarding expert Adele Gladman will host a session looking at how employers can confidently build both policies and an approach to effectively safeguard apprentices
3. Apprentice Wrap Around Programme Case Study - Maltby Academy Trust CEO David Sutton will share their experience of creating an apprentice support programme that has impact for both the learners and the organisation
